Me and a group of university students went for a hike on 05/04/25 and had the best time. Our guide, Samuel, was so knowledgable about the mountain- he’s been climbing it since 2001. He was so friendly and made the experience so enjoyable. Cannot recommend enough if you’re looking for an adventurous hike. I will be coming back to Kenya just to get to the top of the mountain!! Absolutely incredible experience! Mount Kenya Trek and Safaris exceeded all expectations. Our guide, Joseph, was so knowledgeable about the mountain and the wildlife. He kept us safe and informed every step of the way. The porters were amazing too, always cheerful and helpful. The food was surprisingly good, even at high altitude. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to climb Mount Kenya!
This was a challenging but rewarding trek. The scenery on Mount Kenya is breathtaking. I was impressed with the organization of Mount Kenya Trek and Safaris. Everything ran smoothly from the pre-trip information to the gear rental to the actual climb. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that I felt the communication about the difficulty level could have been a bit clearer. Overall, though, a fantastic adventure!
